*For your comfort, as well as to protect your furniture, use an air conditioner to keep relative humidity at 25 to 35 percent.
*Don't expose hardwood furniture to continuous direct sunlight. Draw the curtains occationally.
*Store table leaves as close as possible to the table. The leaves need to have the same relative humidity as the tabel itself.
